Position: Digital Communication and Event Coordinator Intern

Location: Pully, Switzerland

Pangaea X is a dynamic organization dedicated to environmental conservation and educating the younger generation about the importance of safeguarding our planet. Led by renowned explorer Mike Horn, we are on a mission to make a meaningful impact.

Internship Start Date: February, March

Internship Duration: 10 months

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission in various ways:

Your Mission: Reporting to the Pangaea X Head, your mission will encompass structuring and enhancing our communication efforts, both internally and externally. Working closely with the Pangaea X team, you will:

Coordination of the Pangaea X Program: You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth execution of the Pangaea X program, including planning and coordinating various activities.
Management of Pangaea X’s Social Media: You will be responsible for crafting engaging content on our social media platforms to raise awareness about environmental issues and Pangaea X’s initiatives.
Updating Pangaea X’s Website: You will be tasked with keeping our website current by adding relevant content, news updates, and ensuring it remains informative and appealing. Familiarity with WordPress is an asset.
Implementation of SEO Techniques: You will work on optimizing our online presence through natural search engine optimization techniques to enhance our visibility.
Communication Strategy: You will participate in developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for Pangaea X, collaborating with the team to promote our initiatives and values.

Your Profile:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor, HES, or master’s degree program (e.g., marketing, communications,..).
Prior experience in digital communication is a plus.
Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.
Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
Strong writing skills in English and French.
Passion for environnemental conservation and social innovation.
Creative, curious, and detail-oriented.
Deadline-driven and well-organized.
Fluent in both English and French.

Start Date: March – February

Employment Type: Fixed-term (CDD)

Work Rate: 100%

Duration: 1 year
